Umrah Visa Requirements for Pakistani Citizens

Exactly what a Pakistani citizen needs for an Umrah visa: documents, passport validity, photos, vaccination, processing time and the current fee.

The short answer

For an Umrah visa, a Pakistani citizen needs a passport valid for at least 6 months, a valid CNIC, recent photographs, and a confirmed travel booking. The visa is issued electronically (eVisa) through the Saudi Nusuk system — you do not visit an embassy. At Mukhtar Travels the current all-in visa fee is PKR 48,500 and normal processing takes 5–7 working days.

Documents you will need

Keep these ready before you apply — incomplete documents are the most common cause of delay:

  • Original passport, valid for at least 6 months from your travel date (8 months is safer)
  • Valid CNIC (NADRA) — Smart Card preferred
  • Recent passport-size photographs with a white background
  • For infants and children: B-Form / CRC and parents' documents
  • Marriage certificate (Nikah Nama) if a wife is travelling with her husband and surnames differ

Vaccination requirement

Saudi Arabia requires Umrah travellers to hold a valid meningococcal (ACWY) vaccination certificate, taken at least 10 days before travel. Polio vaccination requirements can also apply to Pakistani travellers depending on current Saudi and WHO advisories. When you apply through us, we confirm the exact vaccinations in force for your travel dates and tell you where in Lahore to get them done — rules do change, so always verify close to your departure.

Do women need a mahram?

Under current Saudi policy, women aged 18 and above may perform Umrah without a mahram, including when travelling in a group. Children and minors travel with their parents or legal guardians. Our team confirms the rule in force when you apply, so there are no surprises at the airport.

Validity and stay

The Umrah eVisa is normally a single-entry visa that allows a stay of up to 90 days in Saudi Arabia. It permits travel to Makkah and Madinah and — unlike in the past — Umrah visa holders may also visit other Saudi cities. The visa cannot be used for Hajj and does not permit any kind of work.
